Hellooo friendsss,
Have you ever had that day when you randomly just start having flashbacks of some of the most precious memories you had let it be an old one or a fresh one? Well, if you have, that's great but if you don't, you should go make some new ones for the future so that once you're old, you can share these 'grandmother/grandfather stories' with your grandchildren. These memories are the kind that will make you laugh when you think about the past. The kind that will make you smile randomly. The kind that will be passed on as a joke for generations to come (too much exaggeration haha) and so, I thought about posting my own story just to humour you which I hope it does.
Lo and behold…. MY STORY!!!
One of the funniest memory I can recall is the one that happened when I was about 8 or 9 years old. [Gosh I feel so old :'( ]Anyway, at that age, we were all very little and I loved messing around with almost anything that belonged to them (hehehehe I was so mean back then ). I used to take my siblings' clothes and hid them under the bed or under a pillow as they take their shower. I like to see them shivering when they come out of the bathroom looking for their clothes.(I'm sorry for being too mean) The best part would probably be looking at their facial expressions when they start worrying about their missing clothes. (money can't buy those :D)
Sometimes, it would be my mom who starts looking for the clothes and I just stay put like "I didn't do it" and I was really good at keeping my mouth shut. When they leave the room where I hid the clothes in, I would put the clothes back and make it seem like it magically appeared. (I believed in magic so much then that I used to think I can magically turn my ugly carpet into a magical flying one). Eventually, my mom would find out and when she does, there's always that voice telling me "I won't live another day'. Now, i just think back and I'm like "WOW! I had so much time to waste back then"
To cut everything short, I just wanted to convey my message about the importance of keeping precious memories. This is so that you would be able to cheer yourself up especially when you feel down or even to make you laugh like a mad person in public. Try to pen down your memories if you feel like you won't be able to remember it or take a picture (that will last) so that someday, you would be able to look back at it and relive those moments that you thought may be gone forever. Although you may become crippled and old just like most of the people, one day at least you would still be able to have the memories that are just as important as the food you take every 2 hours in order to 'stay alive'
Here's a quote from my PHYSIC'S TEACHER although it doesn't actually link back to the post above, I feel that this is a very interesting quote and thought I'd just share it with you
"Live life as if there is no tomorrow."
